AAS 70th Annual General Meeting

Agenda:

1. To receive the Annual Reports
2. To receive last year's AGM Meeting Minutes
3. To receive the Statement of Accounts for 1st January 2024 – 31st December 2024
4. To elect Management Committee Members (nomination form to be received two weeks before the AGM in accordance with Article 9 (2))
5. To elect an Auditor (nomination form to be received two weeks before the AGM in accordance with Article 9 (2))
6. To consider any other business for which prior written notice has been received two weeks before AGM in accordance with Article 9 (2)
7. To discuss general business

AAS members (Lifetime, Ordinary & authorized representative of Institutions) with Active membership may attend & vote during the meeting.

AAS Associate members may also attend but will not be eligible to vote.

At the meeting, members will have the opportunity to:

- find out about Australian Alumni Singapore's operations and finances

- ask questions about the operations and finances of Australian Alumni Singapore

- speak about any items on the agenda

- vote on any resolutions proposed

At the meeting, members will be asked to vote to:

- accept the minutes of the last annual general meeting

- accept the annual financial statements

- elect committee members

- appoint an auditor

- approve proposed changes in AAS Constitution

Important Notes:

1. This event is for AAS members only. Only life, ordinary and institutional members may vote.
2. Each Institution member may send one representative to attend and vote. Please notify the Secretariat of your attending representative in advance of the AGM.
3. Eligible non-members may apply for membership online HERE.
4. We require you to register your attendance with the AAS Secretariat, by Tuesday, 4th March 2025:

a. for security reasons;

b. to check that you are a current member of AAS; and

c. in order to allow us time to arrange your refreshments.

This is to avoid a situation where there is not enough catering for everyone and a line at registration for security checks and to check your eligibility to attend the AGM.
